The confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence is a very positive development. As a politician she will have to play political games. Still, she has demonstrated over and over again that she is a person of integrity who has taken positions, such as supporting the pardon of Edward Snowden, which get her ridiculed in the press. Maybe 2025 will be a good year after all.

WHY should ANY person in Gvt. have to 'play political games'!

ALL of us people are NOT servants of any Govt..

Govt. should do what the people want!

I really do not want to hear lies and bullshit from any Govt. in the Western hemisphere......we have had enough.

WE run the Govt.

Revolution.

I'm still concerned about her views on on Gaza Ray which I find perplexing to say the least. As you may know I was a fan at Tulsi Gabbard for quite a while. Now I'm not so sure, however in the balance of things I think it's good that she was confirmed.

Likely, since she serves at the pleasure of President Trump, if she went off-message and was pro-Palestinian she wouldn't have the nomination. But, I share your concerns. I don't expect any cabinet nominee to be off-side the "Israel has no greater friend than America" talking point.

Stop staring at your 'button hole.' Govt. SHOULD be doing what the people want NOT vice versa!

Hers is a critically important appointment where she faces tremendous challenges. Hopefully it will be a stepping stone to a future presidency. Her successful appointment is a great step forward in forcing governments to face issues with integrity and honesty.

The chemical controversy goes on and on. I guess the point is to prove what a great guy Assad is and how horrible were his opponents. Sad to see so many folks blind to the struggle of the Syrian people. Very sad.
