We are living through a period in which Western democracies are experiencing significant upheaval and, accompanying this, exceptionally high levels of corruption.
I went through it too, a bunch of sociopaths (literal) working for a political party to take me down. Those were terrible, yet interesting, years. I got torn apart, but learned a lot about the power of Power in my country. I have immense empathy for those similarly targeted.
